OSTARA


Ostara -March 21 ( Spring Equinox)
Cast your circle and invite the Goddess and God, and your Watchtowers. You can adorn your altar with fresh flowers for the season if you wish. Also you may want to fill your cauldron with spring water . A small potted plant should be on the Altar
Assuming you have lite the candles and incense.


Recite something like this
“ O Great Goddess, this is the beginning of new life as Mother Earth has been released from her wintry sleep.
Now is the time for the greening of earth and the begining of new sprouts.
Now is the time for the God stretches and rises , bursting with a promise of Summer.”


Now take the tie to focus and meditate on the changing of the seasons. Be aware of the energies around you and of the Earth.
* make special note of the potted plant and remeber to keep it healthy and nurtured for the years to come*


Now you have a Cakes and Ale time ...Rembering to also share with Mother Earth


When you are comfortable and have enjoyed the ritual release the circle.

note* Remember to thank the flowers you have picked for this ritual and when done these flowers should be set back to earth( compose pile ? ).
