Undead

Basic Strategy

1.03 - May be valid in higher versions

First thing to remember with the Undead is that Ziggarotes (sp?) are your friends. Make a lot of them at the beginning, and start upgrading them to Spirit towers as soon as you can. Build lots and lots of them. While other races have to build farms AND
defensive structures, the undead have it all in one.

Once you have a ziggarote up immediately train your hero of choice ( i prefer the Death Knight ). As well as your hero, train 2 or 3 Crypt Fiends. With one hero and 3 Crypt Fiends you can kill the toughest of the creeps right at the start.

When you go off hunting for Creeps try to find a Goblin Lab. BUY A ZEPPELIN.

Fill your zeppeling with your hero, a couple fiends ( depends on the lvl of your hero ) and go take some mines. This is GREAT for when their are gold mines incased in trees. Kill the creeps and start mining. Normally characters never even know where you are until the end of the game. Grab as many mines as you can.

If you want you can put defenses around your mines for the security, but really it wont make a difference. Save yourself the time and money and just milk the mine for everything its got while you have the time to.

Remember to keep upgrading your creatures damage and armor. This makes a big difference, but subtle difference.

So after critiquing this strategy a bit, and practicing it a bit, you should have a base that is surrounded with Spirit Towers, and a flying legion of monsters ( Frost Dragons are great for neutralizing enemy defenses ).

Just a couple quick notes while attacking. Corpses are your friends. They can be lethal bombs, but turned into enemy arrow fodder, or
re-summoned back to their original Strength. Do not let that ability go to waste. Send in your gargoyles to kill some powerful monsters, then summon them back to life to fight for your side.

Keep leveling your hero up while slowly raising up in the tech tree so that you can train Gargoyles.

I know this strategy is somewhat similar to the other posted, but i just wanted to cover a couple different points.
