The M1 Alliance is helping to organise a massive blockade of corporate Adelaide on May 1st 2001. Everyone is encouraged to attend the meetings to plan the blockade.

Rav here from the dole army. Our group has been established mainly to highlight the needs of students and the unemployed, however we also want our site to be used as forum and meeting place as well as a porthole to more detailed information regarding globalisation.

We meet at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month at the Conservation Council of S.A., Wakefield Street Adelaide. We aim to:

• conduct and manage an organisation dedicated to inform, educate, debate & disseminate information about hemp and Cannabis law reform.
• publicise the cause of drug law reform in general & Cannabis [law reform] in particular.
• research, advocate and lobby for changes in South Australian and Australian laws in relation to the personal use, medical & therapeutic use and industrial use of Cannabis.
• lobby for, and encourage the establishment of a Hemp industry for fibre, paper, fabric and other industrial purposes.
• raise awareness and advocate the ecological, environmental, social and economic advantages of utilising hemp as a part of the transition towards a sustainable carbohydrate based economy.
• encourage research into, and development of medicinal and theraputic uses of Hemp.
• campaign for the adoption of harm minimisation strategies, techniques and policies at local, state and federal levels.
