Dream Disclaimer: Farscape belongs to Jim Henson Company. But my insanity belongs to me. This is a response to Dad’s challenge, never did one before but this was something that my muse had been pestering me about. That challenge made her start screaming. Time line: after the final four. Rating: pg-13 Aeryn turned to face John, her long hair down, a chill wind blowing it across her face. It had taken them so much to get to this point. Scorpios had been defeated but at a horrible price. Every one they had ever known was dead. Now it was now only the two of them. “How long will you be gone?” Her voice cracked with emotion. “Only a few days.” John responded. “I know the wormhole that we opened leads back to Earth. I must go there and warn them of what they may one day face. Then I will return to you.” “Don’t be long, you are all I have left.” And with that Aeryn pulled John’s head down to hers. Their lips met in a bittersweet kiss. Aeryn’s lips opened slightly, allowing John to taste her mouth with his tongue. It lasted for microts, and would have gone one for longer. Aeryn felt John go limp his lips separating from hers, then he fell to the cold ground, lifeless. Aeryn knelt at his side, tears threatening to fall from her questioning eyes. “Don’t worry my dear.” A voice taunted. “You will soon join him.” Looking up Aeryn saw a woman dressed in gold, in one had she held what appeared to be a brightly shinning crystal. “My thanks to you.” She sneered down at Aeryn. “By opening the Gate and bringing a human soul to my world you have freed me. ” Aeryn was so numbed by what had happened that she didn’t responded when the woman reached a hand forward. “Now all I need is a Sebacean soul to give me the power to fulfill my purpose. A pity, you risked all to save this galaxy, but in realty you freed me so that I could destroy the Universe.” And with that she reached into Aeryn’s heart and removed her soul crystal. Laughing in victory the woman brought the two crystals together. And in a silent explosion of gold light, the Universe ended. ** With a gasp Courtney sat up, her eyes attempting to focus though she wasn’t wearing her glasses and her night mask as covering half her face. “Frell,” she muttered under to herself. “I really shouldn’t have eating all that chocolate and watch six episodes of Sailor Moon Stars before bed.” And with that she pulled her quilt back up, snuggled up to her old, ragged angel doll and went back to sleep. |
