Background:

         Born Michelle Jamie King, she went for a career in Starfleet. When she was very young, she had decided that her main goal was to become captain.

         Born a twin child, Michelle's twin died after their birth and she's been an only child ever since. Michelle wasn't ever in the same place for very long. Both of her parents were Starfleet officers and she wanted to follow in their footsteps. As a young child, Michelle, known to friends and family as Micki, went on to become the top student in her studies.

         In 2355, when she entered the academy at eighteen, she majored in Tactical, Security, Engineering and minored in Operations. Once she completed the academy, at twenty-two, and then her one-year cadet cruise, she entered into officers training. She continued her security training while in officers training and then went on to Special Operations for about seven years from the time she was twenty-five till age thirty - two. While in special ops, she earned a couple of promotions.

         She was then offered a post as head of security at the rank of Commander. She accepted it.

         Michelle served in the capacity of head of security for two years then went on to be first officer. When the Cherokee came open and had a need for a CO, her then CO put her name into the pot for the CO position, saying, 'Michelle is, to this day, and most possibly ever in my life, the best officer I've ever worked with. She deserves this post.' That is how Michelle got the post of CO on the Cherokee.

         She has been in command capacity of the Cherokee for a year now and she was the one that chose her XO. She chose him on the basis of several things, but mostly because she needed someone that would keep her on her toes.

Personality Profile:

         Michelle's favorite recreational activities are Dom'Jot, Parisees Squares and several forms of Earthly and alien martial arts. Michelle likes to be by herself in her off time, not that many people want to bother her in her down time.
