Background:

         Lyndon is the second son of a prominent businessman. His parents are socialites in New York’s high society. Lyndon never appreciated his family’s lifestyle, and was more than happy that the family fortune, and responsibilities, would fall to his older brother. From an extremely young age, Lyndon had a thirst for knowledge. He excelled in school, often choosing books over friends. At first his parents tried to force him to be more sociable, but eventually gave up. His father was more than willing to send his youngest son off to Yale, hoping to get Lyndon out of his ‘shell’. His parent’s constant nagging finally drove him to join Starfleet. His father felt disgraced at his son’s decision, and refuses to speak to him. His mother contacts him infrequently, and always when his father is not around.
