| University at Albany Dance Team |
| The University at Albany Dance Team performs during halftime for the UA Football and Basketball teams, as well as competitions all over the northeast. In the Spring, they compete at the Big Apple Classic in New York City and at the NCA Cheerleading and Dance Championships hosted at the University at Albany. In 2001, the dance team received Third Place in both competitions. In 2002 and 2003, they recieved second place in the NDA Cheerleading and Dance CHampionship Regional Competition. The team practices hard and has a lot of fun competing and supporting their fellow teams. Tryouts are held for the team twice a year, once in April and again in October.
