Building a Shelter

Your assessment of the island is that the temperature will never get below freezing.

Your task is to construct a shelter to protect you from the sun, weather, and extremes in temperature. The island has rocks, trees, and some low lying hills about 200 yards from shore.

Be ready to explain why you chose the materials and design you used.

- or -

You may make a multimedia presentation of your research, recommended construction materials, and shelter design. Think of yourself as an architect trying to sell a plan to a client.

The presentation should have ten slides, five graphic items, one sound clip, and two URL links. The presentation should also include a bibliography in APA format.
