Paintball Tournament Rules

 

1.                  Teams will be made up of five persons.

2.                  All paintball markers must be regulated to 300 fps or less.

3.                  No paintball grenades, mines, mortars, or other pyrotechnical devices are allowed.  Participants may only use one approved marker, but may also carry a backup, pistol-type marker.

4.                  Radio listening/communicating devices are allowed, but horns, whistles, or any other audio devices are not.

5.                  A participant must receive a direct hit in his or her center mass to be considered out.  Paint splatter alone is not sufficient to be out.

6.                  Participants will be required to have long sleeved shirts and pants to play.

7.                  All participants, spectators, and volunteers must wear goggles and/or approved head gear when in designated areas at all times. 

8.                  Purposefully removing goggles/head protection in areas requiring this equipment is grounds for expulsion from the event.

9.                  No physical contact is allowed.

10.              All markers must be plugged when not on the paintball field in active play.

11.              Firing or otherwise pretending to shoot at animals is strictly forbidden.

12.              Going beyond the prescribed boundary lines is not allowed and will result in participant disqualification.

13.              The tournament will be made of a combination of speedball and wooded field ball.  Participants should expect to play both types of fields.

14.              All rules, penalties, and definition of acceptable conduct is left to the sole discretion of the field chief.
