FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE AMA/BCAMA 
What is the American Marketing Association (AMA)?
The American Marketing Association is an international professional society for members of the marketing community. Founded over 50 years ago, the AMA provides an educational and social forum for marketers and is open to anyone involved in the marketing industry. There are currently 90 professional AMA chapters in Canada and the United States. 

The BC Chapter, founded in 1955, is one of the most highly regarded chapters of any in North America based on our success in membership, programming and financial results. The BC Chapter has won the international Chapter of the Year Award in both 1995, 1996, and 1997. 

MEMBERSHIP
The AMA is one of the largest marketing associations in the world with approximately 50,000 members. The BC Chapter has close to 600 professional members and over 150 student members. BCIT, SFU and UBC have AMA Collegiate Chapters on campus.
MEMBERSHIP DUES
Student = $30 US per year.  
BC CHAPTER HIGHLIGHTS
In addition to four Professional Marketer Series speaker presentations, the BCAMA hosts four Member Only Breakfast Seminars, a Marketer of the Year banquet, the all-day Vision conference on marketing trends, two special events and programs for students.
