| Mike Anderson received two honors from the NFL. He earned the AFC Offensive Player of the Month Award AND the NFL Rookie of the Month Award. The Denver runningback is a rookie this year and has the all-time record for most rushing yards in a game by a rookie (256 yds vs. New Orleans). He also ran for 1500 yds this season- something many renowned veteran backs didn't even accomplish. Here's thie wild thing- he didn't even play in every game. Oh and how about this- he never played football in high school and for only a few years in college after being in the Marines. Natural talent perhaps? DOH ya think?! |
