Victorious: Team Cassius Clay with the trophy. Yay us!

Friday, 1 June, 2001. A team of four improvisors from Canterbury University—Brendon Bennetts, Hilaire Carmody, Andy Ford and Matt Powell—went forth to do battle with teams from Chritchurch Polytech and Christchurch Boys' High School. To cut a long story short, we won. Yay!

Memorable moments: Well, there was the part where Brendon forgot that the letter after K is L. And the part where Matt ran offstage for no apparent reason. And the part where the Polytech team left the room without their ask-for. But there were some good bits as well, like the best three-minute soap-opera ever! And the part where we decided that the Boys' High musical needed a chorus line, so we all linked arms and danced across the back of the stage. Man, it was fun. You'll all have to come next year.
