Youth Groups
Melville
Uniting Church has 3 youth groups for various ages:
Junior
Sunday School: For ages 3 - 6: This group is to help introduce
children to God and the Bible from a very young age. The volunteer
teachers, through fun activities, help to do this. They meet every
Sunday during church.
Senior Sunday School: For Ages 7 -
11: This group meets every Sunday during church. It still
gradually introduces the children to God and the Bible, this group
includes Bible reading and fun activities. Again the ever changing
volunteer teacher helps with this.
GLAD (God Loving
Addicted Disciples): For Ages 12 and up: GLAD meets every second
week during church, to give members a chance to attend services as
well. They learn about the Bible and God by reading, reflecting
and talking. In addition, the lively GLAD Group Leaders organize
various social events. Some past events include Q-Zar Night,
Mission Impossible Night (at the Bible Society), Pool Party, and a
Games Night.
