Nu Beta Omicron is a local sorority founded at UCSC in January 2002. The founders recognized that there were limited spaces available in the sororities currently on the campus of U.C. Santa Cruz but there were increasing numbers of women who were interested in participating in the Greek System. Beyond this, it was observed that many of the previous Greek options did not embrace the ope minded attitudes that Nu Beta Omicron strives. With these thoughts in mind, NBO was formed! Our motto is "Never Be Ordinary", this summerizing our desire to accomplish new and unforgetable goals! In the summer of 2002, Nu Beta Omicron began the process of affiliating with a National NPC sorority. Please see the Panhellenic page for more information. |
