Dal (Indian Spilt-Pea Soup)
1 pound Dry yellow split peas
2 Celery stalks, finely chopped
1 large Carrot, finely chopped
1 medium Onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons Sweet butter
1 tablespoon Curry powder
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 Bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3 Chicken bouillon cubes
2 quarts Water
Place all ingredients in crockpot, stir, cover, cook on low
for 7 to 9 hours. Garnish with chopped green pepper.
