Ingredients:

1 cup yellow mung dal
100 gms bitter gourd (karela)
1/2 tsp methi seeds
1tsp turmeric powder
salt and sugar to taste
oil for frying karela
2 tsp.ghee 



Method: 

Boil teto dal in sufficient water with 1tsp turmeric and keep aside. 
slice the bitter gourd in roundels and deep fry and keep aside. take 
a 1tsp of fresh oil and add the methi seeds until they crackle - add 
the dal and the fried karela, salt and sugar to taste and let it come 
to a boil. simmer for 2 minutes and take off the fire and add the ghee 
and cover immediately - serve hot with steamed rice and begun bhaja.
