Sponsor a Department!

In order to more perfectly spoof the economic situation of Britain's Universities, we've decided to put sponsored banners on all Departmental webpages.

Advantages to you:

• Exposure

• Very targeted advertising

• The opportunity to support a good cause

• Good public relations

Advantages to us:

• More money to improve and update pages of the department and main university pages.

• More humour content.

Who can sponsor:

• Humorous pages.

• Pages/companies with similarities to the Department.

• Individuals with something to say

• Almost anyone else who pays money and is not excluded below.

Who can not sponsor

• Anyone who might try to pressure us to change our spoof. (educational institutions, government bodies, etc)

• Pages that would get me in trouble with the law if I allowed them to sponsor

• Pages that promote or widely display addictive vices (gambling, alcohol, pornography, etc.) to the point of encouraging young audiences or recovering addicts. What falls into this category is under the webmasters' discretion.

• Any other page that the webmasters feel might attempt to take away the freedom of the page to act as it desired by giving "conditional" advertisement or similar means. (this does not ban advertisers from suggesting ideas that might help promote their products, it just means we don't want advertisers telling us what to do).

• Any other page that the webmaster may feel is unsuitable, or perhaps he wants to boycott.

• Pages that campaign against freedom of speech.

• Pages that are very, very boring.
