Round the weeping willow wind,
All the rings left by time.
From the prehistoric years,
To the present day of cheers.
In his bark he holds memories fine,
Memories of song, dance, and wine.
He remembers dances, parties, and games.
Times of glory and times of fame.
But he fears the day when,
When he won't see daylight again.
This makes him sad,
But he remembers times when he was glad.
So this you must learn from the great tree.
Through good times and bad, be happy.
And live your lives the fullest you can,
Whether you're woman, child, or man.
