Karin's Version of the First Half of the Miami Mission

This is Karin. Sheila assigned me this report to write. I am not sure what to write, so nobody should laugh.

First, there is a briefing. (Just between us. I do not think Sheila has done this much.) She tells us that we must to these offices of David Hunt go and remove something that is already been removed. Then we should copy it and put back the thing (a hard drive) that was removed. The other team members are Paris, Jack and there was supposed to be someone named Chuck or something, but he was being really bored, because he was always falling asleep. As they took him out, he kept saying something about enemas. (I looked this word up and I don’t think he wants one.)

Anyway, Sheila seems to be thinking that this Jack person cannot do this without leaving some burn marks or hello messages. I am a little confused about that.

But Paris is very nice and very pretty and she made reservations for us to fly to Miami.

We fly the next day to Miami and go to a nice hotel. Later, we go to the office building to look at it. Jack thinks he can go in alone, copy the drive and we will be all the time waiting outside for him. Paris does not so much like this idea and thinks we be going all together.

We decide that we will be making a distraction by the ATM machines. Paris goes to the stores to buy some things we will be needing and Jack comes to my hotel room with cigarettes and alcohol. I am being a little worried about the carpet now, because I think he will be burning in it "hey." He doesn’t burn it and I am reliefed.

The next day we go die markplatz. This I like. We are seeing lots of beaded bags, but Jack does not seem very interested. He tells us that he saw this woman pick up a shopping bag and thinks she has made some exchange or something. Paris and I are supposed to Jack be following. The lady sees us, so we stop at a store window. Paris goes in and I watch for the lady, but I cannot find her.

Then we see Jack taking one of those stupid tests they give to help advertise people. He is trying to leave but someone named Inga is running after him. Paris asks one of the ladies a question and I babble in German at Inga.

Jack gets away, but then he comes back with some security guards because he stole something in the store with the beaded bags. Except that he is saying he didn’t steal anything and he wants to know who is their boss. Paris is very nice to them and they say they are sorry, but they have to do their doody. (I looked this up, too, and I don’t think they should be allowed to do this in front of us.)

Since we cannot find the lady we were following anymore, we want to go to eat. It turns out that Jack also hates the French, so we will go to a French restaurant and be mean to the waiters who are mean to us. Paris is not so happy about this, so she won’t sit with us and she even leaves to go some other place.

Jack orders macaroni and cheese. Our waiter is not being pleased. We smile and order hot dogs. He is being less pleased, so we order food that they are actually having in this place. We get a new bottle of wine that they are opening at the table. They are all the time talking about us in French, but I don’t speak French, so it is sausage to me. Jack keeps shouting because there are snails on his plate and he wants French fries with ketchup. We send everything back the first time he is bringing it to us. Naturlich, we cannot eat the food, because we know they have been peeing and maybe doing their doody in it. So when we leave, we go to McDonald’s because we have so much hunger.

That night, Jack is going in the park to sit, and Paris and I are going to a nightclub. Paris tells me we have to rush there and I am again being confused. We meet two men who are nice, but weird, and this lady keeps our pictures taking. She tries to keep a picture, but Paris makes her give it back. I ducked for the last picture. The mall lady with the shopping bag is being in the club, too. That must be why we were having to rush to get there. I think the lady was doing more business (I read in my dictionary that there is being a slang meaning for that - like doing doody - but this is not what I mean) and was wanting a picture of us, because we are always in the same place with her.

We go back to the hotel and decide to not wait for Friday, but to be breaking in tomorrow night. We tell that to Jack after he tells us about his new friend, Gus, who is also in the park sitting on a bench.

I am hoping that tomorrow to me this makes sense. Maybe Gus will us be helping to get in the building, we won’t have to rush around and the shopping lady will not be being in all the places we are.
