Some of the greatest mysteries of all time are tied to religion in one way or another. Many of these mysteries relate to lost artifacts, some of these items may not have been seen for centuries. Two of the most fascinating items are the lost Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail. To read more about these items, click on the links below. Holy Grail
The Holy Grail is an important relic of the Christain religion. The Grail is supposed to be the cup that Christ used at the last supper and also the cup that was used to collect the blood of Christ at the crucifixion. After that it is believed that Joseph of Arimathea took the Grail to England. This is where the true mystery begins. Tales involving the Knights of the Round Table, the Knights Templar, and quests for the Grail are all common. Check out the links below and draw your own conclusions.

Ark of the Covenant
The lost Ark of the Covenant is a mystery with Old Testament roots. The Ark was constructed to carry the tablets that God had inscribed with the original Ten Commandments. The instructions on the construction of the Ark were specific and can be found in the Bible today. Exodus Chapter 25 tells the story of the Ark's origin. The Ark is also described by some as a weapon of great power. After remaining in Jerusalem for many years, the Ark simply disappeared. How and why are large questions, with few answers. Some claim the Ark is still in Jerusalem, others say Egypt, and still others say Ethiopia. Some claim the Ark is so important that knights searching for it used the cover story of searching for the Holy Grail. Where the Ark and Grail really are remains a question, and if they will ever be seen again is an even bigger question. The following sites will explain more about the Ark:
