The below article and photos are on the UFO which was witnessed by residents of Al Ghurair Complex in Dubai - UAE. This event turned out to be a fantastic marketing Campaign and nothing to do with UFOs at all. I must admit I thought we really had a big story on our hands. I also have to mention that it was kind of the gentleman who ran the campaign to discuss what really took place. His letter to me is placed just below this message. Then you can read and view the material below. One thing that sticks in my mind is the gentleman even though he admits in not believing in UFOs he mentioned he had seen the same type of object over a two night period 5 months before the marketing campaign began. What did he see ???
To clear things up; the whole idea started about 5 weeks ago.I was working late and left the office (Al Ghurair Complex in Dubai - UAE) late going back home..when I saw what looked like a round object with lights surrounding it. This attracted my attention, but I didn't give it much thought as I don't believe in UFO's as such..the same thing happened again the following night..it was all happening on top and around the Al Ghurair shopping complex.
That gave me a brilliant idea.a marketing one, to attract the attention of all the DSF (Dubai Shopping Festival) visitors to Dubai. So, I briefed the advertising agency on the campaign.and described to them what I saw.and here we go.we launched the campaign..the eye witnesses and all (all fabricated by the agency)..decorated the mall with the same theme...and it picked up dramatically.we now receive calls from Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Bahrain, etc.
The campaign is still going on.and our tenants are very happy.

After I posted the story to my site and the Internet, then found out the story was not an actual UFO event I pulled the page from my website, and contacted everyone to let them know. I sat and thought about re-posting the story to my site and thought it would be a good idea. It shows that it is sometimes hard to say for sure about an actual UFO case. Plus when we find out for sure that a case can be solved I believe it is important to show this as well.

Then we had to send our reporters to miss Zeina Akawyies APT at el Murkabat st to tell us her story , she said it was around 8:30pm I was standing in my balcony looking to the sky as the moon was bright suddenly I saw very strong bright light from its effect I was going to faint from the shock but I pulled myself together and kept watching it i called my sister and asked her to get the camera .
Miss Zeina continues what an experience I had I saw a round (circle) shape roaming around city of Ghurair .I know this sounds crazy or hallucination , but it was like science fiction movie .Zeina and her sister were able to watch for 3mints before it disappeared behind one of Ghuraier city's tower .
Aisha(sister) added who ever doubts the existence of UFO's let him look at the pictures i took it proofs their existence. We (the newspaper) request all the people to watch the sky to night who knows may be more mysterious light will be discovered.

we asked( the newspaper) expert in ancient and modern languages he said ( no name mentioned) I cannot reach any conclusion to read this strange language I have not seen anything like it. its very mysterious and confusing, and added I believe it has something to do with the appearance of the strange objects above el Ghurair city which is populated and so many witnessed the incident .
An officer in civil defense said who wanted to stay anonymous the appearance of the strange objects over the sky of elGurair and this strange signs on the computer are very difficult to explain
Our investigations (the newspaper) result is nothing till now some experts say that this could be a message from other planet to make contact with Dubai city .
The reports shows that for the past years there were sightings for strange (flying) objects in Hata area and Dubai , may be el ghurair city caused curiosity to the aliens .
The statements given by the witnesses and the security personnel that there is no danger on the people as Abbas said it difficult for me to explain but when this signs appeared on the computer screen I was not confused or scared contrary I felt calm as who ever sent it meant no harm he meant peace what a beautiful message for the new year to start with .
From our side (the newspaper) we will keep you informed with the latest , may be we meet an aliens in town(joke)
I have sent you all the articles cut from the newspaper they are in Arabic language and I translated to you almost word to word for your investigation , I personally think they are genuine , also the government would have issued an immediate denial . the space ship is quite strange being round and so clear personally i have not seen such pictures till now . but i would like to note what made me sent you the letter is the signs i have seen them some where but cannot find it .
we are now in the Gulf surrounded with the American troops they have bases in Kuwait , central one in Bahrain , Saudi Arabia huge one and recently they moved to Doha ( Qatar) , the British have quite interesting one in Oman and in Yemen the American have small brigade for the safety of their oil tanks , this is not a secret everybody knows about it , but again all the recent pictures of jet fighters or spy aircraft non looks like it nor they will fly in such low attitude for training purposes, and also my sons said our technology does not permit us to have such shape jets?????????
