Francois Lake, Grassy Plains (South of Burns Lake) British Columbia Date: February 14, 2002 Time: Approx: 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Weather Conditions: Clear Sound: None Telephone Interview This witness telephoned me saying he had read the newspaper article (Lakes District Newspaper) on the sightings which are taking place around our area. He reports that on February 11 - 15, 2002 he saw something very strange in the night's sky. He lives at Francois Lake, on the south side, and approximately 30 kilometers from the Ferry landing. He said the night was perfectly dark with the stars shinning brightly. This gentleman said he looked up into the sky, when something caught his eye due to the speed of the object with lights on it. He went on to explain that he has seen a lot satellites, planes, etc.. but this object was like nothing he could compare it to. He said it almost looked like an aircraft, and when it came into his vision which was closer to his area he was located in, the object then came to a complete "stop" and went totally dark. (meaning the lights went out on the object). Then all of a sudden there was a flash off light which reminded him as if you took a mirror and reflected it off the sunlight and aiming it towards the ground you would have a very bright area lit up. But because it was totally dark he said it was like a ray of light which seemed to be sweeping on the ground. This witness told me the sighting only lasted a couple of minutes before continuing on it's way at an incredible speed and disappeared. I asked what direction the object came from, he said it came from north and left heading directly south. Also his father-in-law was witness to the sighting also. He went on to say he looked for a reasonable explanation for this sighting as he was not to keen on the idea of "UFOs". But can't seem to find a any explanation. I asked what altitude he estimated the object was at, he said it was very hard to tell, but went on to say he could not believe how powerful the light was. It was almost like if the sun was shinning through the clouds, giving the effect of a beam of light and of course the brightness of it. Once again it looked as if it was looking for something due to the light sweeping (moving around on the ground). Houston, British Columbia Date: March 1 - 7th, 2002 Time: 2:00 p.m. Weather Conditions: Partly Cloudy Sighting lasted: Approx: 2 minutes Dear sir. I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can. I remember seeing it in the early part of March as I said before. I cannot remember the date exactly, but it was about 2 p.m. when we saw it. It was a cloudy day with some sunny breaks. I will try to give you the location as best I can. I'm not totally familiar with the area yet as I live in the town houses across from the duck pond trail. There is a little park there for kids. I was looking out my patio window towards Houston Forest products, but a little off to the side towards the mountains, there is a small mountain or hill I guess you can call it. It kind of looks like a lump and it was almost behind the hill when it rose up into the sky from what I can see. It left the ground and flew straight up then returned to the ground, straight back down. It zig zagged quite sharply and flew straight back up into the clouds and disappeared. The sighting lasted about 2 minutes in all and from where I was I could not hear nothing. As for the size, it was about the same size as a school bus is long , but totally round, and a metallic silver in color. I only seen it one time. I hope this will answer your question if there is anything else I can help you with just email me. I will try to get around to taking a photo of the location where I saw it using my digital camera if you would like to give you a better idea of the location. Smithers, British Columbia Date: February 1, 2002 Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m. Investigators Note: I received this report March, 24, 2002 which may be a confirmation to the February 1, 2002 sighting in which three ladies witnessed a large boomerang shaped object 3 kilometers east of Telkwa. The witnesses to this sighting were heading east on Highway #16 towards Houston, B.C. their home town. The object passed right over head, going west towards Smithers, B.C. Telkwa is a 10 minute drive east of Smithers. I started out making enquiries into the February, 1, 2002 sighting but I must admit I wasn't ready for the amount of sighting reports which kept coming in. Today, Sunday, March 24, 2002 I received a telephone call from a gentleman who lives in Smithers, British Columbia who had read an article in the Smithers Interior Newspaper about some of the sightings which have taken place from Kitimat, B.C. right through to Prince George. The paper also carried my contact information so if anyone had seen anything strange and wanted to, they could at least find me to file a report for investigation. This witness told me he had gone to rent a video from the Smithers Hollywood Video store and after he came out and got into his car and starting driving down the road, something caught his eye. He mentioned, due to the lights from the town of Smithers he could see the object rather well. He pulled his vehicle over, got out and watched it fly slowly over and around the town for approximately five minutes. He also told me he thought it was descending and his first thoughts were of a para-glider and said it was the best way he could describe what he was looking at. He also said the object had "one" bright white light on it. He mentioned the light would go bright to dim, but said he wasn't sure if this was due to the object turning. The witness mentioned that para-gliders often flew off Hudson Bay mountain and I asked him, because of that fact, had there ever been any other sightings of the gliders .... he replied "no, not at night". I asked him if he had an idea what the size would have been of this object. He said it was hard to tell, but went on to say it would have been about the size of a para-glider if you were standing next to it. He also said the height from the ground would have been approx: 1500 feet. It slowly made turns over the town of Smithers. I also asked about the weather conditions at the time of his sighting, and he said it was overcast as did the three witnesses for the Telkwa sighting the same night. The witness said he would never have mentioned his sighting to anyone as he did not know who or where to report this anyway, until he read the article in the newspaper. Investigators Note: I was talking to some new friends (I am keeping their identity secret) and they told me that they knew for a fact that there was more than normal air traffic in and around our area after the sighting on February 1, 2002. Their source would not elaborate on what was taking place, but again said there were a number of aircraft patrolling the skies our way. I thought this was very interesting as well. Cedarvale, British Columbia Dates: Seems to be ongoing. I plan a trip to visit these witnesses in April when I make my rounds. Also I have only taken a clip from the report due to the information I would have to delete as not to identify this witness. Dear Mr. Vike :) Thank you for your response - in light of the fact that you are very busy -I do appreciate it. Well, when I finally got the nerve to tell my Neighbors about seeing the "Satellites" operating above their property, the man of the house said "Why didn't you call me?! Everyone else has seen them except me!" so I promised that next time I would call him. It seems that these Neighbors and my other Neighbor have seen "Satellite-like things" in this area for quite some time - and not only like what I have described but different as well. The above mentioned Man's little Girls said that when they were camping outside one summer night they observed lights dancing in the fields and then the light then came right into the tent that they were sleeping in. This same family saw a "Satellite" in a bush early one morning at the end of the driveway as they were heading off to school. My Neighbor on the hill above my home had a major "Satellite" sighting and was so excited! He tried to call us but his telephone would not work [we had been away from home that weekend]. Cranberry Junction, British Columbia Date: August or Mid September 1985 Time: approx. 9 - 9.30 p.m. Witness #1 Hi Brian, It was nice to hear from you. Its a funny thing you know that every time I hear or read about UFO sightings, I wish I would have reported it to someone at the time I saw whatever it was. I pulled out some old records, I believe it was late August or mid September 1985. You see I worked for Lyle Gold and Sons Logging and being that I live in the Nass Valley I used to travel the back road to Cranberry Junction and from there down the highway towards Stewart to the old Vandike Logging camp every Sunday night. I had a 1980 Ford F-I50 short box pick up truck. It had no canopy so my visibility was excellent. It was a real nice night, the sky was clear, yet it was dark more like 9 or 9.30 p.m. I remember now because I used to leave the Nass camp at around 8 p.m. I was roughly five to eight miles from reaching Vandike Camp. I was three quarters of the way down this very long straight stretch and I caught a glimpse of this light in my upper front window rear view mirror. I noticed that the light came down at an angle from the Nass river side of the highway like in an "S" like motion but it was a long way back, about as big as this dot on the paper (pencil sized fullstop). It started at the beginning of the straight stretch like it came down and aligned itself with the pavement and if you count to five that's about how long it took to catch up to me going 90 kilometers per hour. It came right up within ten feet in the passing lane of tail end of the pickup. I had a really good look at it in my rear view mirrors and I even turned my head and looked at it. It was a single light about four feet round and was within inches of touching the pavement, very close. I was trying to see if I could see some mass or structure behind the light but I didn't see anything. I was going to wave at it by sticking my hand out of the window but I chickened out :-) By looking straight into the light it was weird. It was like looking at the moon. The light did not shine or light the highway up. It was a light within itself. After watching the light and watching the road I looked back and it was gone. Then a car came around a corner in front of me. I don't know why but I didn't tell anyone in the camp what I saw when I got there. But the very next morning there was five of us guys going to work in a crew cab going back the same way I had came to camp that night. We worked 15 or so miles back down the highway from the camp. It was about 6 a.m. just daylight. It was going to be a very nice day, the sky was a deep morning blue and there was a gray cloud hanging just above the Nass River. It was only as wide as the river and about a kilometer long. I wasn't driving so I was admiring the beauty of this long gray cloud and all of a sudden there was a blue explosion in that cloud. It was the same deep blue as the sky and it was a loud explosion too. I saw all of the blue go out from the explosion and like a magnet it got sucked back into itself and I watched the blue come out of the cloud like a blue worm. It stretched out like an elastic band and like you would let go of that band it shot down the Nass River at a super high speed. I noticed when the head of the blue came out of the clouds there was no ship or structure it was like blue mercury or something liquid (very strange). The guys next to me were shocked when it exploded though they were watching the road and didn't get to see what I did. They said what in tarnation was that !! All I could say was "I don't know". I don't know why but I never did tell them what I had seen the night before. I just took it in as a blessing because not too many people get to see something like that. I don't know what it is. I can only tell you and draw a picture of what I saw. It could be right there in front of you and you wouldn't know it. A true master of surprise it is. Investigators Note: The witness has made two drawings which are posted on my website. http://www.oocities.org/ufologia_canadiana/Nassriver.html The first drawing shows the position on the highway of the truck in regards to the object. The second diagram is one of the truck and the object in relation to the highway and Nass River. Investigators Note: The above told me he was driving with other co-workers in a truck when a deep morning blue and there was a gray cloud hanging just above the Nass River. He also mentioned there was a blue explosion in that cloud. Well this witness had looked up one of the co-workers who he was driving with that day, and asked if I would be able to talk to him about what he saw. I called a really nice gentleman who gave me his report to what he saw that day. Witness #2's report - This fellow told me he had not seen or heard from witness #1 for sometime. This fellow reported that there were still an other in the pick up truck at the time of this sighting, but sadly the third man has now passed away. He conformed that this did take place up on the Cranberry by Derek Lake (he believes) and they had been staying in the Lyle Gold and Sons Logging Camp. He also confirms that a strange gray cloud in a completely clear blue sky when he also seen the weird blue light which came out of the cloud with a tail at one end of it. These men watched the blue light move slowly along until it seemed to just explode. So we have two witnesses now to this sighting. I would like to thank both witness for their report. Prince George, British Columbia Date: 1999 ?? Time: not known yet In 1999 in Prince George I was just getting into my car..Which was located close to the bypass near the Fraser river.. I was at my friends place and I was just leaving when I turned around to wave I saw 2 very large circles linked together by grooves like inside of a watch. The circles were about the size of the Crop Circles in Vanderhoof around that time ( That is the only sense that I have made out of this whole thing since the sighting) Anyway they moved across the sky, one way then the other way. Like east to west. It did this about 4 times and then I got out of sorts and got into my car and drove away. I didn't stay until it flew off somewhere else. I just left ! Since then I have been trying to wrap my mind round it. I have just recently found this site. Please get back to me. Kitimat, British Columbia Date: March 19, 2002 Time: 7:35 a.m. A fellow who lives in Terrace and works in Kitimat, while on his way to work this morning told me he watched "something" coming out of the sky with flames behind it. He described his location as being near the Kitimat River Bridge heading towards Kitimat driving down the one straight stretch which heads away from the river and saw the object more or less directly over Kitimat. He says he drives back and forth each day but today he saw something streaking down with yellow, blue, and red flame behind it and trailing smoke. Investigators note: The witness to this event said the "object" what ever it was came straight down. I have been in contact with the Kitimat newspaper this morning but they have not had anyone report this as of yet. I will look into other areas where I might find some information and hopefully get lucky. Many thanks to this witness for his report. Terrace, British Columbia Date: Wednesday - (either February 27 or March 6, 2002 Time: approx: 8:00 p.m. In a telephone interview the witness said he didn't give much thought to what he saw until he seen the write up in the newspaper about people seeing unexplained lights in the sky. The gentleman reported seeing a very bright light moving from west to east from his hot tube in Terrace, B.C. While observing the light he thought to himself this is a different looking. He reported it was moving fast, but not like a falling star and faster than a aircraft but not streaking across the sky. I asked if it looked like a satellite, meaning a small point of white light. He said it was like looking at one of the brightest stars, both in size and intensity. He also mentioned as it moved closer to the east there was a mist, light cloud cover and this is where he lost track of it. I asked what colors if any were associated to this light, he said it was the color of a star but maybe a bit on the yellow side. He again told me it moved faster than a aircraft, but slower than a meteor and he had not seen anything like this before. (Investigators note: The reason why I have such a spread in the date the sighting took place is due to the witness not remembering the exact date, but he said this would have taken place on either February 27 or March 6, 2002 as he knew it was one of the Wednesdays. My many thanks to this witness for making a report. Terrace, British Columbia Date: February 1 - 5, 2002 Time: Daybreak A witness called me today to report that he had witnesses a very shiny bright "dot" moving up and down very fast right above the mountain. I asked if he could be more exact to what mountain he was talking about. He told me this took place between Terrace and the Terrace - Kitimat airport. He also said if you looking from the south towards this object there would be a small hill separating himself and the Terrace - Kitimat airport. This is where this bright dot of light was seen bouncing, over top the mountain. He also reported that it would move from one side quickly heading towards Prince Rupert then shoot back into the same position from where it came from. He also reported that it would completely disappear and then reappear again some distance away from where it then vanished. He also went on to tell that a couple of his relatives had also seen it as well. My many thanks to this witness for his report. Investigators Note: This case is ongoing and will be in contact with the witness at a later date. Terrace, British Columbia Date: March 9, 2002 Time: None given Faxed report: Hi, my name is (deleted by HBCC UFO) and I live in Terrace, British Columbia. My Mom was reading the newspaper earlier today (March 13, 2002) and called me to read about the UFO spottings. She showed me this because just the other night, march 9, 2002, I was laying in bed with my blinds open, when this huge bright ball came shooting past my window, When I saw this I ran down stairs to tell my parents what I had seen. They thought it was a shooting star. I am not sure what it was that I saw, but I thought this information might be helpful. Thanks (name deleted by HBCC UFO) My many thanks to this witness for his report. Investigators note: This again sounds like it may be a meteor . I have to note there certainly has been a few reports like this sent to me in a short period of time. Jack Pine, Terrace, British Columbia Date: March 4, 2002 Time: approx: 10:00 p.m. This witness telephoned me to report what her, and her husband had witnessed after reading an article in the Terrace newspaper about UFO sightings around the north. She tells me that they had a pretty weird sighting in the area of Jack Pine which is a area just 20 minutes outside of Terrace, B.C. She also felt that this was very strange as her in-laws were coming over to their home early the next morning, but her husbands father likes to stop at Tim Horton's for a coffee. When the father arrived at the witnesses home, he told them that he was talking to a fellow in Tim Horton's who had seen a "UFO" the night before and this lady who reported to me had not told the father that they also to had seen a UFO. She went on to explain that both her and her husband just looked at each other wondering what it could be as they knew what they were watching did not have a rational explanation. Seeing her husband is a professional and works in the scientific field they were both at a loss, and said what else could it be other than a UFO ? The sighting lasted approx: 20 minutes, and it was a very bright white light with a halo around it. She told me the light moved quite a bit from side to side but always seemed to come back to a center point and stay stationary before continuing to repeat itself. After the approx: 20 minutes time was up it disappeared. The husband said to her that it could not have been a plane as they don't do things like this. (as above). I asked the witness what direction the light departed to, she said they actually did not see it leave, but said the light just went out. I also asked if she would be able to give some idea of how big this would have been, she said at arms length the light would have been about the size of a pea or maybe a bit smaller. The light was high up in the sky she said. Investigators Note: This is where my ears perked up as she mentioned the crop circles in Vanderhoof, British Columbia and a close friend and biologist (fisheries technician) and her friend, another witness were working on a salmon enhancement project and had seen a large bright object hovering over the area where the crop circles were discover back in September, 2001. (the night before the circles were formed, this information was a total surprise to me). It wasn't until two weeks later when the fisheries technician heard about the crop circles she put two and two together thinking if what they saw had anything to do with the crop circles. I was told the fisheries technician would wake up every four hours to check the salmon traps to see if they had caught any fish. So the technician and her friend had spotted the object at approx: 4:00 a.m. and said it was so very bright and moving so strangely. My phone number has been passed along to the fisheries technician so she can fill me in with the details of her sighting in Vanderhoof, B.C. Between Hazleton & Kitwanga, British Columbia Date: December 7, 2001 Time: approx: 12:05 to 12:30 a.m. Aother report from the friend of this witness. Date: February 26, 2002 Time: approx: 12:15 to 12:30 (close to the same time as above) This witness contacted me by way of the telephone to report that her and her friend had left work just after midnight. When traveling highway # 16 between Hazleton & Kitwanga, B.C. they saw a really bright flash of white light which came from behind them. They did stop off to the side of the highway to look around to see where the flash of light came from. She told me there were no other veicles on the road. She noted it was cloudy as they could not see the stars or the moon. I asked if there were any transmission towers of any sort that she knew of, she was not aware of any at all in that area. She said the event lasted only a second or two at the most but lighted up the whole area. Her friend had a completetly separte sighting of the same flash of light in and around the same area we are talking about above. This took place on February 26, 2002 between 12:15 to 12:30 a.m. Many thanks to both ladies for their reports. Terrace, British Columbia Date: March 17, 2002 Time: approx: 12:05 a.m. Possible Meteor - Fireball Dear Mr. Vike My name is (name deleted by HBCC UFO) and I live in Terrace. I am 17 years old and I read the article in the paper about UFO sightings. Tonight I seen something in the sky that is probably nothing but I would like to tell you to see if it may help at all. At about 12:05 I was the time that me and my girlfriend were in my hot tub looking at the starts. Tonight was a clear night and many stars were visible. We seen may shooting stars but we were surprises when a flash of light tore across the sky. This was no shooting star because it was much bigger and lit up the whole sky, flashing as it went behind the mountain. I only seen a little bit of it but my girlfriend described it as almost round in shape and very bright. It was only in the sky for seconds before going behind the mountain. She said it looked like the moon because it had a less brighter outer "shell" I guess you could say. What astonished me was how bright it was and its speed. What I am thinking it probably is was a meteor burning in the atmosphere but I was just wondering what other people have sighted. I live about 15 minutes north of Terrace. The object seemed very close. I wish I could have seen it a little longer to give you a better description but it was so bright and fast it was almost impossible. It was like someone was flashing high beams in the sky. Anyways I just thought I would let you know of this and I hope you will write back to tell me what it possibly was. I am also interested to hear what everyone else has been seeing so maybe I could watch the sky since I have to drive the highway every night. Hope to hear from you. Many thank to this witness for reporting their sighting to me. Wilmer - Near Windemere, British Columbia Date: 1973 - no month given. Time: daytime close to dusk One afternoon three girls were in a farmers field on their way to the hayshed to enjoy a cigarette unbenowns to their parents. After their sojourn to the shed they thought it was time to go home again and walked back down the field where there was a hole in the fence close to Sandy Bend Road. Before they got to the fence they heard a sound like a vehicle trying to start, similar to the engine turning over and over. They all looked in both directions but there was nothing to be seen. The same noise happened again but they could see no vehicle anywhere. Suddenly they realised that the sound was coming from above their heads. Looking skywards they saw a circular shaped craft with different coloured lights around the circumference, and the object was silver/metallic in the centre. All three girls were stunned, scared and spooked and ran as fast as they could towards their homes. One of them doesn't remember exactly how she got back to her parents .. she had no real recollection of the path she took but when she arrived she told her mother about her experience. The other two girls were so scared they got the first girls dad to take them home. None of them seemed to realise how long the occurrence was ... but realised it was way longer than they planned to be away from home, in fact it had become quite dark. The whole episode was never talked about again ... the mother didn't want to discuss it. This story was recalled to me by the first girls' sister..... (and I also took a telephone interview with this witness). I plan on contacting one of the other girls to get her story of what happened but so far I've been very busy and will endeavour to do that as soon as I can. I would like to thank the witnesses for the report. Edgewater, B.C. Date: 1970's ? Time: 11 p.m. approx. A friend reported to me that she knew of a girlfriend's husband who was on his way to work. It was the graveyard shift and he was heading off along the highway to his place of employment .. some 10 -15 minutes away from his home. As he travelled towards his destination he became aware of a bright light which seemed to be getting bigger and bigger and following him alongside the highway. He was too curious to keep on driving until he'd had a better look at what was going on. Stopping the vehicle he watched for several minutes. But strangely enough when he finally got to work he discovered that he was over 2 hours late. Investigators Note: I would have liked to have contacted this gentleman but he has passed away... but I was indeed grateful that his experience had been passed on to me for inclusion in my files. Wilmer, B.C. Date: 1980's Time: noon The witness went out onto the balcony of her home looking east towards the Rocky Mountains one nice day. She saw three egg shaped metallic objects in the sky above the mountain line. All were identical in size and shape. She ran inside to get her mother to have her come look as well and her mother said "Oh my God" and ran back indoors to get dad. When dad arrived on the scene all three objects had disappeared. Thanks again to the witness for her report. It was noted at the time that many other witnesses in the Windermere area saw similar sightings but on different days. From what I understand it was quite the talk of the town for some time afterwards and I'd like to perhaps take a trip down that way sometime in the hope that I can dig up some more information about these and other sightings. Courtenay, British Columbia Februay 25, 2002, 7:50 PM I saw two bright white lights moving in an unconventional fashion at 7:50pm on the 25th of February. They looked to be about the distance apart of half an index finger held at arms length, or just under 1cm. The two lights, likely part of the same object, moved to the left and then stopped dead before moving back to the right and continued in that direction untill it was out of site about 15-20 seconds later The light on the side that it was moving towards was the brightest, but when the direction changed so did the relitive intensity of the lights. The two lights stayed the same distance apart and at the same horizontal orientation to each other which rules out a plane banking. Its position in the sky was very close verticaly to the tree line on the other side of a clear cut that is about 500 meters across from where I was standing. There was no sound at all (and it was a quiet night so I should have been able to hear it) or blinking running lights like you see on all aircraft. If it was a rescue helicopter from CFB Comox (the largest helicopters in the area) it would have been fairly loud from that distance and it moved unlike any fixed wing aircraft commercial/private/or military. Im located just on the outskirts of Courtenay B.C. to the west of town and I was looking north. Thanks To Chris Rutkowski For Posting This Sighting Report Coombs, British Columbia March 29, 2002 Time: 00:20 I live in the woods so there are no other lights around, plus tonight is overcast so there were no stars in the sky or no moon, I was taking my dog out to do her business, when I stepped out the door I couldn't help but notice a bright yellow orange circle moving very slow from west to east just above me I would say possibly a mile up, It was below the clouds, then it stopped for about 15 seconds, then I ran in the house and grabbed my camera, I took a couple of pictures then all of a sudden it turned north going very slowly, then all of a sudden sparks shot from it was still staying in the same place for another 10 seconds{ I was talking to my brother on the phone telling him and describing what it was doing and then it just disappeared, I got 3 or 4 pictures Thanks to the NUFORC for this report Cedarvale, British Columbia Date: April 3, 2002 Time: Varies Here we go again: On April 3rd, 2002 8:28 PM Sighting over my field of what appeared to be a Sparkly Star, flashing Red and Green, moving in a box-like pattern. I phoned my Mother and remained in contact with her for about 1 hour while all this was going on. During the timeframe I flashed my flashlight at this thing 3 times like "on, off, on, off, on, off" and nothing happened. 8:30 PM Very, very, bright, very, very low flying white light moving steadily towards Kitwanga, BC, in a straight line - East, floats by to the Right of where I am sitting on my front step. 8:40 PM Another small white Star moving very steady in a straight line - heading South. 8:50 PM What appeared to be a Jet Plane [complete with the Jet sound] with flashing Red lights went by in a South East direction going directly past the "Sparkly Star, flashing Red & Green, moving in a box-like pattern" thing in the sky. I could see the outline of the Jet Plane and it was very large and "metallic." The Neighbors dogs started to howl, and then to bark - as did my dogs and those living across the Skeena River on the Highway 16 side. So I did it again, during the timeframe, I flashed my flashlight at this thing 3 times like "on, off, on, off, on, off" and nothing happened. 9:02 PM Quit watching for awhile... 9:50 PM By this time it had moved so far up in the sky that it just looked like an ordinary Star. 10:00 PM All in all, it moved in a gradual East - South trajectory over the space of the 2 1/2 hour timeframe. By that time it had gotten so high up in the air that it looked like a regular Star. Hope this helps :) Best regards, Thanks to this witness for her report. North Van/Coquitlam, British Columbia Date: April 4, 2002 Time: 10:30 p.m. Also, received a report through MUFON's WUFOD on 2002.04.22 submitted from BC of a large, bright stationary object near North Van/Coquitlam that was accompanied by a second smaller, moving light. These were observed in the SE section of the sky at about 45-50 degrees elevation, disappearing there after being visible for 1-5 minutes around 22:30 hrs on 2002.04.16. Witness was a 20 year old male who made his observation under clear skies. No other details on this LITS but thought Brian might want to make a note of it - as if he hasn't got enough to keep track of already. Investigation is under way. Thanks to Mike Strainic & Eugene Frison (MUFON) who received this report, and posted it. |
