My mother and I saw the craft outside our home window. We live on a river bank and the object was flying quite high. Aircraft come in all the time as we are quite close to the airport. The UFO wasn't going in the normal directions every single other plane does. It was going in either a North or North East direction and was very very fast! I tried my best to reason out what this thing exactly was. I checked for reflections in the window, and there wasn't any lightening. The craft didn't appear all of the time, but it looked like a strobe light moving across the sky. The strobing pattern was sequenced, so that rules out any natural occurrences in nature. The light itself was white. Its flight path was perfectly straight, but accelerated upward at times. (Also, it went behind some buildings) The flight path was very linear! The very next day my father head a UFO report on the radio, but this one was in Phoenix, described the exact same way as my sighting.

They were flashing orbs of light, consisting of five colors, bright white, deep blue,,amber, like a traffic light, bright red,and deep green !they were in a circular pattern directly above ! too high to be a weather balloon, and it wasn't a plane ,because there was no tail from fuel burn off,and no noise what so ever ! this object stayed in one spot and did not move ! each light would flash at different intervals, never simultaneously ! but the biggest light was the one in the center, the red one ! I was down by the assiniboine river, and there's no way it was any kind of reflection off anything that I'm sure of ! it just kept flashing all the different lights at different times, never more than one at the same time ! it lasted for about 30 to 40 minutes or so ! just before it disappeared all that was showing was the large center red light which lasted about 2 to 3 minutes ! then it disappeared !

I received a call from a woman who stated that she and a companion watched two "firefly-like" objects dancing and chasing one another in the night sky at about 10:30 pm last night. They were watching the planetary "alignment" and saw these other two orangey-red objects in the North, about 45 degrees elevation. At first they were still, but after a few seconds, they started playing their aerial "tag" and then sped off after 30 seconds to the North, although one seemed to veer W near the horizon.

Thank you to Chris for posting the information he received on this sighting. You can find Chris at Ufology Research of Manitoba

A man was driving in south Winnipeg when he saw a bright, "dark pink" object flying SE and dropping an egg-shaped white light before splitting in two pieces before fading and disappearing. The sighting lasted about 10-15 seconds. It was long enough that several people in cars in other lanes of the highway honked their horns to call attention and pointed up at the object.

A man in north Winnipeg saw an object "like fireworks" moving quickly W-E. It was a "bright blue triangular light, coming down at a 75-degree angle." A long tail followed the object in its short 4-second flight.

Thanks to Chris Rutkowski for the above two reports.

I had just left work and was driving down the road traveling west when out of the corner of my eye I saw a bright green ball of light traveling south west. About five minutes later I was traveling south and I saw a bright flash of light similar to an explosion in the same direction the ball of light was traveling. The ball of light was as bright as a flare but travelled far to fast to be a flare.

I just went outside in the garden. I observed an airplane heading in direction to west. A star like object, which may have been a satellite was at same time heading in a eastern direction. The airplane and satellite(?), met right on. It looked like the satellite passed under the airplane. A few seconds later, the light of the satellite faded away quickly and was gone. The airplane, was flying very high altitude. Absolutely clear night. What made me question what I saw, was the direction this satellite was heading, and to my eyes, it looked like it was passing directly under the airplane. This happened on the western sky , about 70 degree above horizon.
