| Saskatchewan, Canada Date: 2002 Time: none given. Hello My name is (name deleted) from rural Saskatchewan, and I came across your page and thought you might be able to help me with a few questions. Very often I have seen lights and objects in the skies of Saskatchewan. Especially among my people, the First Nations communities, we always discuss the lights and objects (Among other things..ghosts,little people, ect.). But there is one event that occurs every so often on the reserves.. it's the light.. a light that lights up the whole area almost like daylight, a few times I have glanced up and seen an object that appears to turning and when it completes the turn the light fades.. I have watched the object..sometimes they will stay in the same place or move off into another direction.. I know that it not a helicopter, plane or object known to man. It's a white light.. and often the object that emits the light.. appears to look like a star to a except I know that's exactly where the light came from.. and the light doesn't hurt the eyes..it's a white light..not like sunlight..it lights up large areas..I can see quite far into the distance as I would on a normal sunny day.. Is this a natural event..or unnatural..?? Has this type of event occurred in other places in Canada?? Thanks hope you can help.. Saskatoon, SK Date: November 29, 2002 Time: 1:30 a.m. looking to the south, and slightly to the left and down from orions belt i noticed a bricght light. At first I thought it was a planet because it was a different intensity than the stars. But when it moved it caught my attention and I called my wife and son over. My wife said it was a plane, but I worked around airplanes and airports for almost 20 years and I knew it was not an aircraft. There was no regular beacon and as we watched an aircraft did fly over and you could see the difference. It was quite windy at the time with gusts of at least 40 kph and I thought it might be a helicopter because it seemed to be affected by the wind but there was no noise and it had to be at least 5 miles away, and for the size of the light, it had to be bigger than any helicopter I have ever seen. On closer inspection, we could see it was sometimes triangular, then looked like a straight line and other times a dot. About 15 min after I first noticed it there was a streak across the sky. Wheter it was related to this or just a meteor i can't say. As for colour, (I am colourblind) I deffinatly seen it as red, but overall the light in the sky was a blueish. (Kind of hard to explain.)I think it must have been rotating at times because I could see the tip of the triangle pointing to the left(east) then at other times right or down, and i thing someitmes when it turned is when it appeared to be a straight line. I did phone the city police to ask if anyone else had reported it but noone had. My son and I drove in our car to a place about 3 km outside of the city to get away from the light pollution and try and get a better view, but it didn't make too much of a difference, it was still hazy. On the way out of town itI had the light on my forward left, and it was in line with the street lights and the next time I glanced up it was to my right and my son said it had shot over. Then it shot back to where it was origionaly. We watched it outside the city for about 20 min but the only thing that really was different wa! s that i t "flashed" about three times over a 15 min period. I didn't see this but my son was saying at times that balls of light were leaving and returning from it.I called a couple of people because I wanted them to see it and not think I was making it up, but one neveranswered the phone and the second was in a location where her house was behind a highway offramp that blocked her view to the south. I also tried to call the Saskatoon airport but only got a recording. Since nothing extraordinary was happening and my wife thought I was nuts, I stopped watching at about 0345 and went to be. When I arose at 0800 there was too much cloud cover to see if anything was still in the sky. Thanks to the NUFORC Prince Albert, SK Date: December 30, 2002 Time: 7:30 p.m. It looked like a satellite . Same brightness and size travelling across the eastern sky. It then changed direction and increased speed and travelled north covering the sky in about 3 seconds. It wasn't a gradual increase in speed but jerky and quite remarkable. A witness contacted me after he heard a radio program in which gave out the Hotline number. He mentioned that on the radio program they were talking about all the strange lights people were seeing. The witness said he was out in his pasture checking on his cattle. He stopped to open one of the gates to his property, and then preceded to turn on to the highway, then travelling up a small hill he noticed a airplane flying due to the contrail it was leaving behind, and behind in the distance he saw another strange object travelling at least three or four times faster than normal aircraft. The object did catch up with the plane very quickly and suddenly disappeared before the two could make contact. The witness mentioned that if you held a 1 foot ruler up at arms length towards the sky, this would be approx: how close the object came to the plane. Just before the aircraft and object made contact, the object turned into a bright blue flash and then there was nothing. The fellow viewed the whole event for approx: 10 seconds or less. Also he said it was a bright clear sunny day and he could see no tail, or trailing material from the object. Take care Brian HBCC UFO Research Beauval, Saskatchewan Date: July 2002 Time: approx: 2:00 p.m. Day light sighting email report: I was walking south-west in the school field to a friends house. As I was walking i notice a gray object in the sky. I've seen satellites, planes and all that other stuff, but this object was very fast for a plane. It was going at an incredible speed west, then slowed down immediately and stopped.The object took off southwest at high speeds. thanks. Update: Well the object was moving around and stopping it did that for about two times. I say that was a good 20 seconds untill I lost sight.--The object was not that far, it was quite small,but it might be the size of 3 vehicles in length.--how can u tell the altitude??--There could of been other witness because of this small town, but I heard no one mention it (it would of been around). When I seen it I looked around if any one was looking and there were two kids walking the opposite direction. I started to jog (I dunno why)after the object.I remember saying something like hey check out that ufo!!But the kids didnt look..it was like they couldnt hear me or something HBCC UFO Research |
