Continue to improve efforts to better welcome first year cadets to the unit,
by getting at least 75% to attend the Fall Welcome Aboard Picnic.
*No Fall Picnic was held, but all new cadets were welcomed.
Improve the level of participation of cadets in School and Unit activities
by 50%.
*Average of approx. 15-20 cadets participated in each event.
Continue to improve uniform standards and appearance by achieving a 90% uniform
inspection grade during weekly inspections.
*50% of total cadets achieved this goal.
Schedule and participate in at least 3 Community Service events.
*Completed 5 events. Events included: 2nd Annual Christmas Canned
Food Drive, David Jayne Project,
Starcrest Nursing Home, Governers Honors Award Banquet,
2nd Annual Veterans Day Dinner.
Continue to increase recruiting efforts and ideas by recruiting at least
5 current 9th graders, or above, and 50 incoming Freshmen.
*Recruited 55 incoming Freshmen and 7 9th graders, or above.
Continue the tutoring program with NJROTC, expanding Subject Matter Expertise
when cadets are available.
*Total of 15 tutors available. Several subjects were covered.
Improve passing rate for cadets participating in the semi-annual PFT to
50%.
* % passed the PFT with a Satisfactory or better.
Increase Unit motivation by scheduling at least 3 orientation trips each
school year.
*Scheduled and conducted 2 trips. Trips included: Jacksonville,
FL and Parris Island, SC.
Work hard, have fun and pass the AMI with a minimium rating of GOOD.
*Earned a rating of and "Bravo Zulu" for the 2001 AMI.
Work towards earning "Distinguished Unit" status.
*Became one year closer to becoming eligible, and will continue
to meet standards to compete for title.
