TASHKENTis the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The population of Tashkent is about 2.5 million pepople. People of different nationalities live in Tashkent : Uzbek, Russian, Kazakh, Turkmen, Ukrainian, etc. Tashkent consits of the 2 main parts: the Old City and The New City. Old City has a lot of buildings of old architectural style. Most of the modern buildings are in the New City. A lot of people like to go to the down town of Taskent, and believe me there are a lot of things to do and to see (advice you to use Taskent Subway to get there, because the subway is really beautiful). Well, if you want to take a walk, you should go to the Brodway, there you can see a lot of cool thing for sale, or if you feel like you have a lot of energy, you can play differnt games, or sing karaoke. If you get hungry there are tons of cafeterias and stands where you can buy a hot-dog, hamburger, cheeseburger drinks etc. If you are a fast-food fan you shall go to "FM-burger". If after you feel you are ready for the best part of the day, you shall go to "Taskentland" and "Aquapark". First one is like a small Disney land. It has all sourts of attractions for people who like fast rides and for peple who like to ride not so fast. Aqua park has all sorts of pools and slides. But you can spend only 3 hours in the Aqua park. Time in Tashkentland is unlimited. For people who like nature and animals there are "Botanic Garden" and "New Zoo". There are a lot of clubs where you can spend whole night. So Tashkent is a cool city and you definitely shall visit it if you have a chance.
