Oh where did I go wrong?  Why must I be stuck in this predicament?  The 
shade from that appendage is far too gloomy.  Perhaps if I were of the 
female gender I might swoon, but I am just a boot afterall.

Leather bound and smooth, I am worn with authority.  Many a goblin has met 
my wrath as my master kicks them out of his way.  Though not entirely happy 
with inflicting such pain, I do as I am made to do.

Cushioning the foot of the mighty Goblin King, one would think it an easy 
task.  Indeed it isn't.  Though I wouldn't have minded getting a bit closer 
to those wonderfully beautiful loafers I saw just a while ago.  Oh the shoes 
we could have made together.  They were breathtaking.  Their brown leather 
just so so, and looked to be an excellent line.

‘Ow' blasted goblins keep getting in his way.  They do so scuff my nice 
surface.  But if that dreadful appendage up there would let the light past, 
I could shine brilliantly.  But no, I remain in the dark beneath it.
