Jareth sat on his bed, Teddy sitting his lap with an amused expression. "Don't you love me anymore?" He asked. Teddy just smiled back. Reaching around the back, he slipped his hand into the fur and pushed the sacred button. Teddy opened his mouth, as if you gasp with pleasure. "Oh you like that huh?"

"I get lost, in your eyes. And I feel, my spirits rise." Teddy was singing to him. Jareth could feels his eyes well up. "And soar like the wind, is it love that I am in?"

"I love you too. No one can come between us." Sadly, the GK was misty eyed. "I love it when you sing to me."

"I get weak, in a glance, isn't this what's called romance?" Jareth pulled the bear in closer.

He sighed.

"I don't mind not knowing, what I'm headed for. You could take me... to the skies... Well it's like being lost, in heaven. But I'm lost, in your eyes." His kissed the bear, wet and hard, muffling any sound he might have made. Jareth was disturbed by the mechanical nature of his kisses.

Jareth frowned. "You don't want me do you?" Teddy stared back emotionless. It would have been obvious to any list member, or any sane being for that matter, that the track was simply changing. "You kiss me like you don't care." He set the bear on the bed and stood away, concerned. "Why can't you talk to me anymore? Talk to me, my love."

Teddy's lips began to move again. "Sometimes I feel, I've got to..."

"What?"

"Run away, I've got to... get away..."

Jareth's expression fell.

"From the pain you drive into the heart of me, the love we share... seems to go nowhere. And I've lost my light... but I toss and turn I can't sleep at night."

The GK's usually strong glare began to tear up. "What?"


"Once I ran to you... now I run from you... This tainted love you've given, I give you all a boy could give you. Take my tears and that's not nearly all... "

"FINE!!" Jareth cried pathetically. "If you want to leave then LEAVE." He grabbed the bear and threw him into the hall slamming the door behind him.

In the hall, Teddy stopped playing, as he hit the ground the cassette tape inside him flew to the floor. Its label: 80's love. For Jareth, the true 80's enigma. From Dawn
