Physics (SL)Instructional methods will emphasize the use of the inductive approach to science, laboratory investigations to construct and apply mathematical models of the behaviors of the natural world, and real-world problem solving. The universal nature of scientific research across content areas and political borders is stressed. Historical implications of science are included. New topics introduced in this course include those aspects of physics traditionally related to phenomena such as sound, light, electricity, magnetism, and nuclear reactions. Pre-requisite: |
