THIS ASSIGNMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED AS AN ELEMENT OF YOUR COMMUNICATION MARK (6 marks) AND YOUR THINKING AND INQUIRY MARK (6 marks)

Each student is to present their chosen topic in the following formats:

1.  A 30-45 minute oral presentation to the class.

-- 2 days prior to your presentation you mmust give me a prepared handout summarizing the topic you will present.
-- All presentations will include a quiz wwhich the presenter will prepare for the class. Each presenter will be
    required to mark the quiz they set with the results being evidence of individual listening skills.

The research should be focussed on examining the accounting theory involved in each topic!

Evaluation of your oral presentation will consider more than content. Your aim is to teach the class. Therefore, I expect that you will be expert at your chosen topic.

Audio-visual aids are allowed to be used as supplements in your presentation. The librarians, or myself, can help you determine what is available. You are responsible for the ordering of such materials and any equipment (computer, projector, VCRs, etc...) which is needed.

It is possible for me to have a reasonable amount of material duplicated. Any such material must be given to me at least 2 days in advance of your presentation date.

Finally, I am available and willing to help you. I will provide specific suggestions and discuss your topic with you. Therefore consider me as a resource.
