THE M.V. "LAGIK"
HOW NOT TO TURN IN A RIVER !

The M.V."LAGIK" decided to try to turn round whilst navigating the River Nene in England on 13th December 2000, having just sailed from Norway. Unfortunately they miscalculated how wide the river was. The vessel blocked the river, then broke its back (in two places) and has now been declared a Constructive Total Loss.... or perhaps a new Millennium Bridge !
