Expo Parade,Saturday May 5th 2001
City papers and the special Expo 2001 magazine featured their work
The St Kierans BNS students were
very good in the parade and recieved the support of the large crowd
Examples
of work toward
a Civic week Project prepared with the support of The Mayor's Office
and Limerick Corporation.
The Boys from St Kierans B.N.S. planned being in both the Limerick and
Ennis St Patrick's Day Parades for March 17th 2001, until foot and mouth
caused postponement. Their efforts were seen on the Evening Echo
of 16th and 17th March

& Limerick Leader of May 26th 2001
The work done involved the creation of
11 'onstruments', 16 lanterns 4 flying
machines and a dragon, by the St Kieran's Boys in order to to put flight
opponents of the Munster Rugby Team
