Broken Hearted

My heart hurts,
My head is spinning.
I don't know what to do;
I don't feel like living.

I gave you my heart,
And you broke it in two.
You'll never, ever know,
How much I love you.

The pain I feel inside
Is burning up my dreams.
I thought you loved me,
But not everything is what it seems.

But now that it's over,
I feel so sad.
And deep down inside I'm hurt,
angry and mad.

You act as though
you never even cared,
Like you don't even remember
the times we shared.

I lay in bed and wonder
if you still love me,
But I now know our love was just
a short-lived memory.

You've probably already
found someone new,
Knowing in your heart...
I still love you.

would you toss crumbs of affection?
If my soul was lost,
would you give it directions?
If my days were numbered,
would you sit and hold my hand?
If my eyes filled with tears,
would you try to understand?
If i was standing in the cold,
would you offer me your coat?
If my mind had an address,
would you drop me a note?
If i held the sunshine,
would you let me warm your day?
if i told you i loved you,
...would you run away?



If I Could

Using my imagination
I could travel any place,
do impossible things,
sad memories I could erase.

It's impossible for me
traveling to a distant star,
only in my imagination
could I travel that far.

Flying with the eagles
or dancing on white clouds,
I could be known by everyone,
or just one in a crowd.

If I could snap my finger's
making all my wishes come true,
I would choose only one wish...
and that's always to be with you.



I'll Be Fine

I'll be fine without you
I won't even cry-
Even though I know,
"I love you," was a lie.
Even though you hurt me
More than words can say-
I can turn around,
I can walk away.

So, go on with your life;
I'll go on with mine-
Getting past the knowledge
All you did was lie.
I'm willing to be friends,
But it will take some time-
You'll have to wait until I'm ready;
Until then, Nick... good bye.



MEANT TO BE

I have been in love before
But nothing compares to this
You've touched my heart and soul
In places others have always missed

There's so much peace and comfort
Your whole being brings to me
This love is so complete
I know we are meant to be

Many nights I lay and wonder
How can I love you this much
Without ever having seen you
Or having felt your touch

But your love has touched me in more ways
Than your physical touch ever can
It's a feeling of such magnitude and depth
That no one could understand

We've connected on every level
The way we think and feel
The things we want, the things we do
It all seems so unreal

It's a feeling of really knowing
That our love is meant to be
I know without a single doubt
That God sent you to me
