Picking up from the end of "Halloween", "Halloween II" is the second experience with the deadly Shape. After being attacked by escaped mental patient Michael Myers Laurie Strode is taken to the Haddonfield Clinic. The not so dead Shape learns of this and makes his way to the hospital. Loomis spends half the movie searching the streets for Michael. The Shape offs the doctors and nurses using many different things. He uses a scalpul, hypodermic needles, a hot tub, and a hammer. Laurie again chased by the Shape escapes into a car in the parking lot. An intern, Jimmy (Lance Guest) comes stumbleing to the car. He had slipped in a huge puddle of blood and hit his head. He then collapses. He may have died but they never say. There is a tv version that has Jimmy in the ambulance at the end with Laurie. Well to go on Loomis arrives after finding out that Laurie is actually Michael Myers' sister! Laurie gets inside and Loomis shoots the Shape again. The Shape gets right back up and follows them. They get into a room where Laurie shoots the Shape in both eyes. Loomis tells her to get out. Laurie runs out of the room and Loomis releases gases into the room that were in canisters and then lights a lighter blowing up the room. We were meant to think that this was to be the end of the Shape, but we all know better. This film is pretty good, but not the best. My problem is the gore and they showed the Shape to much. Also I thought that the killing in the beginning was uncalled for. Still it is a very good film.
