from St. Cloud, Florida on January 25-26, 2003

    Hey just got back from St. Cloud for the opening Florida State Qualifier Rounds 1 and 2. It was very cold Friday night for open practice. The track was in good condition, but there was a lot of wind. Then comes Saturday morning and it was still kind of chilly. Come down to race time it warmed up. Saturday I got 2-2-2 and 6th in semi, not so great of start for the state season. On Sunday, the first moto I was in first all the way around the track until the rhythm section. I got kind of loose and a kid came and hit my back wheel and I flipped over the bars, but luckily I didn't land on my 2003 TroyLee Designs helmet. I was hurt on my elbow for like a week. I have this huge bruise on my elbow. I ended up getting fourth the rest of the motos. In my quarter I got 3rd and in my semi I got 5th because I messed up in the rhythm section and got passed, but I came back and missed the main by a photo finish.
