Misunderstood

Kick Angel's one and only single. To me, a truly wonderful song with heart-felt and meaningful lyrics. I was completely spellbound when I first heard it. If you aren't familiar with it, I hope you will be able to find it on one of the formats listed here.

As you can see by the first two items below, the song title orignally had "The" as a prefix. The labels on the VHS promo have that too, but on-screen it's shown without the extra word. Also, if you go to FTS Lighting (click on "Film") it is again referred to as "The Misunderstood". Plus, Laura calls it that in her profile. Overall, I prefer the shorter title.

Well, I guess I must also include the chart position the single reached: 79. Since the offical single charts only actually go from 1 to 75, Mercury couldn't have been best pleased.

Note the extra tracks on the singles: A to Z and Coffee @ are both excellent songs. The enchanced single also features pictures and fact files (concise versions of those on the Smash Hits CD).

You will also see that the acetate has the text "Alternative Radio Edit" on the label, but it sounds the same as the other versions to me!

The release date for the single was changed from 15th May 2000 to 22nd May 2000.

htfr gives an (industry-only) release date for one of the 12"s as 19th April 2000.

The single was also available on cassette according to adverts. I can't remember if I saw this in shops or not, but a quick search on Amazon UK gives the following info for the cassette:
