Almost there... Hello, 911?... Must... remember... to breathe... The last burst Yo Adrienne! ...And we're off! One of these things is not like the others... I knew I was in trouble when the stretching tired me out... Can I have a beer now? For some reason, my get up caught the eye of a Sun photographer...

Well, I finished it, and I live to tell about it! Yes, in full Silver Stampeder garb, I ran the 2004 Terry Fox Run at Eau Claire! And no, I didn't wimp out and take the 1K route. I went the full 10K! And despite the cumbersome shoes (yes, I wore the BIG sneaks!), I managed to finish in less than one hour! Heck, I'd be happy with a time like that in real running clothes, or after maybe training a bit for the event! In any case, I brought a lot of smiles to a lot of faces, and I showed that yes, Calgary has a running game! Hah!
