Once again, another Mario RPG. I really don’t see how they keep coming up with new scenarios and settings, because frankly this is only like the billionth game Mario stars in. But really, the idea for this game was really creative, which is probably what drew my attention to it. You see, Baby Bowser (Bowser’s son, not a younger version of him) has gotten his hands on this mask(?) that allows him to take the form of Mario. But you’ve got you a new weapon, a backpack water gun-type thing, which really comes in handy when you‘re trying to deal with what Baby Bowser is trying to do to the city. Baby Bowser also has this handy magic paintbrush that he like’s to draw with on everything. Whatever he draws on though, creates this portal which takes you to the different courses (if you remember the painting that you jumped in, in Super Mario 64). As beat different levels in these courses, you get shine sprites which represent starts from the older version, but these shine sprites are actually what powers the sun in this city of Isle Delfino. Also the more shine sprites you collect the more you can do, a Yoshi egg appears (which you can bring fruit to and you can ride Yoshi around), you also get two different nozzles for you’re sprayer, one that allows you to go super fast, and the other super high. At the time I got this game I really enjoyed it, so I’ll give it a 7 of 10.
