NPCs of the Arena
Besides Ultrann, there is only one non-player character (NPC) of the arena: Grolsch of Bols. Grolsch is the Master-at-Arms and enforcer. He is a tough, burly, bushy-bearded man whose only weakness is strong ale. He keeps care of most of the field details: ensuring that no cheating takes place, is responsible for the maintenance of the arena floor and the security in the stands, and making sure that the gladiators are fully healed and cleaned up after each battle.
