Technodyne Savior SAR VARG |

Description |
An odd design, the Savior has four legs for locomotion, and two arms hanging off the bottom / front of the unit, giving it the appearance of a cross between a crab and a spider. The Savior just under three meters long, but can crouch down to just over two meters high. This allows it to fit into tight areas and be effective for urban or space Search and Rescue (SAR). The Savior is unarmed, but does have a hardpoint for extra equipment. Usually a heavy-duty winch, medivac pod or construction claw is placed there, but Legion SAR units mount a light laser or coilgun. Tied at the hip to the Legions, some features were built into the Savior especially for psychokinetics. When formatted, a PK VARG pilot can use their psi through the Savior. This removes any penalty to using psi powers that might be added by being in a VARG as well as using VARG's attributes where applicable (TK fly will fly the VARG, not just the pilot, or use psi to augment cutting laser or lifting rolls for pyro and TK with applicable modes). Psi must still be spent to activate effects though. Interestingly enough, some electrokinetic modes also can be focused in this manner. |
