episode 22: farewell to a friend
	after waking up from a dream rudolph starts to wonder whether he would get home or not. the next day he walks up to van and the others and requests that he be taken to guygalos and also to ask if anyone could show him how to be a zoids pilot. meanwhile prozen is organizing a search in hopes of finding rudolph. he sent out some rev raptors and dark horns to search for rudolph. raven was nearby and detected the zoids and took them all down. Van is trying to teach rudolph how to pilot a zoid but since he is a novice he had trouble stopping because he kept on speeding up. Van planned to teach rudolph some more but moonbay came across some reddlers with their zoid cores ripped out but van didn't know what a zoid core was and dr. d appeared out of nowhere and shows them some footprints that he found. they followed it to some ruins where irvine and the others saw a picture of the deathsaurer and dr. d believes that the deathsaurer is responsible for what happened to the zoids and told them the story about it, that years ago it destroyed 100 zoids and an entire nation in one night. he believes that ravens zoid might just be the deathsaurer since they don't know what it looks like. Van wants to challenge raven and his zoid but dr. d told him that he should run from that type of zoid, and that if his zoid core is hit it will be unable to recover. he asks van along with fiona not to fight the zoid. that night van and fiona couldn't sleep and they find out that rudolph is the crowned prince of the guylos empire. then dr. d asks why people want to kill him and he explains that if he dies prozen will become the emperor. van starts to make fun of him but rudolph tries to punch him and land a punch but his ring fell and van tryied to give it back but shadow grabbed prince rudolph and flew away. the imperial army turns up and accuses them of destroying the zoids so they ran. they got in their zoids and got rid of the imperial zoids but then raven showed up and van had to break his promise not to fight raven but it is discovered that raven does not have the deathsaurer but the genosaurer. zeke merged with the liger but it was of no help since raven kept throwing him around van put up his shield and raven charged up his gun and fired it broke through the shield and hit the liger in the stomach and shattered it's zoid core but zeke managed to get van out of it as it started to grey out and finally die.
