Gingersnaps
| 1 cup brown sugar |
| 1 egg |
| 3/4 cup shortening |
| 1/4 cup molasses |
| 2 cups flour |
| 2 tsp baking soda |
| 1 tsp cinnamon |
| 1 tsp ginger |
| 1/2 tsp cloves |
|
Mix together ingredients of the first table, stir in the flour ingredients a cup at a time. Roll cookies in granulated sugar, then place on a cookie sheet. Cook at 350 F for 10 minutes. |
