HUMMUS

1 can (16 oz) Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans) or 2 cups cooked chick peas (about 1 cup dried)
1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 Tablespoon ground cumin
1/4 cup olive oil (use as desired to achieve smoothness of texture)

Combine ingredients into blender (or food processor). Serve with pita bread. Sprinkle a two dashes of paprika in a x pattern over the finished dip, to ward off evil spirits (as instructed by my aunt Beth).
