DISCIPLE-This term is commonly applied to one who is learning any art or science from one distinguished by his accomplishments. Though derived from the Latin discipulus, the English name conveys a meaning somewhat narrower than its Latin equivalent: disciple is opposed to master, as scholar to teacher, whilst both disciple and scholar are included under the Latin discipulus.

(left)Nathanael- Nathanael is thought to be the same disciple as Bartholomew that is mentioned in the synoptic gospels. He was one of the first of the disciples, and was brought to Jesus by Phillip(John 1:43-51). Nathanael is mentioned as being present at the Resurrection as discribed in John 21.

Nathanael is portrayed by Claude Cameron, who is a original member of the cast. Claude is principle of Lindsay Elementary School. The Cameron family are long time members of the Lindsay UMC

(right)James the Lesser- Identified with James the son of Alpheus.In all the four lists of the Apostles, he stands at the head of the third group (Matt., 10, 3; Mark, 3, 18; Luke, 6, 16; Acts, 1, 13). Of James individually we hear no more until after the Resurrection. St. Paul (I Cor., 15, 5-7) mentions that the Lord appeared to him before the Ascension.

James the Less is played by Dr. Steve Pracht who is an original cast member The Pracht family are long time members of the Lindsay UMC. He has a dentist practice in town.
