offers an Extended Day Program
at each of its elementary schools:

Upper Merion Area School District's Extended Day Program offers a supervised, structured environment for children before and after their regular school day. The program offers a variety of interesting and stimulating activities, including arts and crafts, dramatics, games, sports and special events. Large motor skills and quiet activities are emphasized. Homework time is also provided. The Extended Day Program is state licensed with a qualified teaching staff.

The Extended Day program is open to children age four through 4th grade who reside within the Upper Merion Area School District. The phone number is 610-337-6093.

Four-Year Old Nursery School Program

The Four-Year Old Nursery School Program prepares children for kindergarten with readiness activities, emphasizes social and emotional growth, develops large and small motor skills, and stresses self-help skills and self-esteem.

Children living within Upper Merion Area School District who will be four years old by October 1 are eligible for this program. The program may be combined with other Extended Day options if needed. Please call the Extended Day number for further information.

We will begin taking calls for
2003-2004 school year registration on January 21st.
Summer Camp registration will also begin at that time.

All Extended Day centers
will be CLOSED on January 20
for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
All district school buildings
will be closed for that day.
