It is done in a fun, positive and supportive environment that is conductive to self improvement. Members can work towards the internationally recognized designation of CTM after 10 speeches and ATM after 20 speeches. No one is forced to speak and members do not have to go to every meeting, it is NOT a class. Other benefits to students would include an excellent addition to the resume as well as networking opportunities and possible jobs leads. Many of our members are late grads and include employees with firms such as Agricore United, the CWB, Farm Credit Canada, Advanta Seeds, Pheniox AgroTech, the Canadian Grain Commission, Meyers Norris Penny, the Manitoba Forage Council and Agriculture Canada. We meet each Thursday at 6:45-7:45 from late September to late April at the Lincoln Middle School (Library). Fees are minimal and tax deductible.
