Russian Leader Sends Note on Anniversary

Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation sent congratulation to Uzbek President Islam Karimov on the occasion of a 10th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries. During the last 10 years we passed way on becoming and development of the friendly Russian-Uzbek relations, based on principles of equality, mutual benefit, mutual respect of interests each other, said in the Putin's congratulation message. I am sure, that cooperation between our countries, possessing enormous potential, will go deeper, covering all new spheres of fruitful interaction. Peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan are interested in it, which is a guarantee of maintaining peace and stability in the Central Asia region, noted Russian president.
