In terms of ones own set standards or limited knowledge, one should not see efforts to follow Quran absurd. Allah (swt) says:
Deliberately, believing and following Quran partially, is just like not following Quran at all. To understand complete message of Quran, one should study Quran in his own mother tongue each day. It is a very simple fact that if one do not know complete meaage of Quran, one can not follow it. So knowledge is essential to be successful on the Day Of Judgement. Allah (swt) warns His believers and says:
Quran cleans rusty hearts. Reading Quran and understanding its meaning cures sick (i.e. doubtful) hearts. Quran is especially for one who whisper in his heart, "Is it for me?". Quran is a true blessing for those who struggle to follow it. Allah (swt) says:
5. Allah (swt) will reward me as I am a Muslim. I already believe in Allah (swt), Life-Here After etc.?
One should clearly understand that, declaration and practice are two separate things in the eyes of Allah (swt). Allah (swt) says:
4. I can't be doubtless without some sign?
It is not a new misconception. One should know that people remained doubtful, even after seeing Allah (swt). Reminding this fact to all His believers, Allah (swt) says:

3. I am a Muslim - not a Jew or Christian, Allah (swt) will comfort me on the Day of Judgement.
Allah (swt) is the Most Merciful, the Most Kind and that is why this universe exists. But Allah (swt) clarifies that no one is special in the eyes of Allah (swt) except those who fear Him. Allah (swt) says:
To be successful on the Day of Judgement, one should verify his own set standards with Quran. Allah (swt) says:
Allah (swt) clarifies once again to His followers:
2. To be successful, one should take care of both Deen & Dunya.
Actually this is not only a misconception but also a false statement. Deen teaches us how to spend life in Dunya. So For example, Deen teaches us how to spend money, what kind of business are allowed, what rules will govern men, women, politics, war etc. Therefore, Deen is one way of living life in this world. One can feel the intensity of rejection of this notion of Deen & Dunya in Surah Ale-Imran. Allah (swt) says:
Allah (swt) asks His believers in a very delicate manner:
With a similar delicate tone Allah (swt) says:
1. It is OK to keep sinful, immoral feelings in ones heart.
No, it is prohibited to keep sinful feelings in ones heart. Allah (swt) urges His believers:
One should asks Allah's forgiveness all the time in his heart. Allah (swt) teaches those who believe:
While standing anywhere or walking for somewhere or just resting on the bed, ones heart must asks Allah's forgiveness. Only Quran can create such sence of attention towards Allah (swt). One should read Quarn daily and asks Allah's forgiveness and His mercy. Allah (swt) advises His followers to say:
May Allah (swt) forgive all our known or hidden mistakes and enter Iyeman in our hearts and never make our hearts ignorant to Allah's remembrance - Ameen.
