This article is an effort to bring rational minds closer to message of Quran as they are the intelligentia & driving force of current world. Once attracted to the sweetness of Quran, they could become source of strength to all Muslims. By following Quran, the guidance from Allah (swt), they could not only make their lives glistening but also help others to understand Quran.One should remember that only spiritual explanation of Quran cures sick hearts - not the rational study. Rationality merely provides a bridge between physical sciences and great moral teachings of Quran. May Allah help us to understand Quran and give us the right knowledge to spread message of Quran - Ameen.
Most Beloved Study
After doing graduation in any branch of physcial sciences, Muslim students frequently go for Masters and PhD. For example, a typical computer science graduate usually wish for an MS and then PhD from USA, UK or Australia. Obviously MS and PhD expands student's knowledge base but at the same time it also brings carrer growth and more money.
Clearly expanding knowledge base in physcial sciences or carrer growth or more money should not be set as the foundational objectives of a Muslim student. A Muslim student obtain knowledge and money for the restoration of Islam as a dominant system of living. Allah (swt) orders His believers:
In the current era, a Muslim should think all the time what he can do to make Islam a controlling force of this world. With this change in intention, Inshah Allah, Allah (swt) will reward all his efforts and studies which make Islam stronger. In the eyes of Allah (swt), knowledge, carrer and money have no meaning if they are not targeted for life-here-after. Allah (swt) warns His believers:
One should spend the best portion his time, money and age in the name of Allah (swt). Allah (swt) clarifies His followers:
A Muslim student should plan for studies and other matters of life using guidance of Quran. The best time is one which is consumed in studying Quran.
