SECRET DISPACHES - MOOKS ONLY !!

Got this message from Chris Hollow today - looks like his band the Sand Pebbles are doing pretty well - you may feel inclined to have a listen to the show. Maybe this DJ is someone else to send a disc to? Not to mention the record company....when they "signed" the SP's they would have listened to the first CD called "Shakes", which featured my lead vocals and loads of my guitar work, songs that I wrote and co-wrote......also it would be great to have some Mooks vinyl! A pink vinyl 45 of "Let's Go Down The Docks"! An E.P. of the four best songs from the album! I think they are based in Melb. Maybe you could go and do the hard sell? It's a psych/ pop /garage type of label, but some of our songs would suit, methinks

I tried to find the Hey Mook cd on the aeroplane records link, but to no avail. Tried searching under H and M and even used some wildcards. So I emailed their staff asking how to get my hands on a copy, since its rumored to be the best since Hendrix. I'll let cha know what they respond. Go Collingwood!

"Inside Job" - Scene 1: Mook applies for job at ABC music library, Hobart. A cunning plan to infiltrate the airwaves with Mook product? Or just a scheme to avoid death by boredom at Tas Uni? Hmmm. "can't explain" seems to have gone over well...noticed you added it to the covers list. Remembered a coupla Gene Clark covers that we did at Simon's wedding - "Full Circle" and "One In A Hundred".Special requests for the bride and groom.! Shit, y'know we also did "Ain't That Enough" by Teenage Fanclub at the Polish Club once....Wokko was on drums. We did "Colour Me Impressed" as well - have you got that one on the list?

More covers! "Someone I Care About", "Take The Skinheads Bowling"....erm "Blank Generation" hmmm....disturbing hahahahaha

Spent two afternoons at Kim's place last week buffing, polishing and otherwise tarting-up the mooks opus....had a call from Simon yesterday reporting he is v.happy with the results, even Trevor gave a tentative go-ahead for the use of San Francisco and Central Nervous Station, which had been looking as though they might not make the cut.. Although they still need a minor nip and tuck here and there, we are very close to done. Time permitting, we may even have it wrapped up by the end of next week. I had a look at the top secret info, have been able to add a little and have noted a few changes - see the attached word doc. Crash Into You - as of last week Kim was happy to go with this title Copyright 2001 ã Chilltone Productions - dig it Song titles - You'd probably have to ask those that wrote them, but what you have sounds right to me. Credits - I've put down exactly who played what, on what song etc...thought it was worth differentiating the guitars and lead vocals..but go with what you think works best Song Order - still to be finalised Dates - need to check hope this helps. Good luck with Brad....don't be too hard on him! That finishing manouver sounds lethal. Let me know how things go.
